Introduction
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a serious, worldwide public health problem, characterized by high mortality, morbidity and disability, particularly in children, adolescents and adults younger than 45 years (Masel and DeWitt, 2010 and Vink and Nimmo, 2009). It is associated with increased incidence of different diseases and disturbances such as neurodegenerative, psychiatric and sleep disorders, systemic metabolic and neuroendocrine dysregulations, sexual dysfunction etc., and many of them are lifelong ( Masel and DeWitt, 2010).
