Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the numerical data for the second and third research objectives. The data was analyzed using PAWS Statistics 17. Class means and standarddeviations were calculated for the student assessments. The difference between the pre-assessment and post-assessment score was calculated to determine students‘ growth within each unit. The means and standard deviations of those growth score were also calculated. Adependent t-test will be run to determine if there was a significant difference between student’s growth scores in the constructivist units verses traditionalist units.
