The second stage (Week 2-17) is the experimental time. The Imperatives, Passive Voice, Attributive Clause,
Non-finite Verbs, and Subjunctive Mood were taught during this period. All the participants used the same teaching
materials and were taught four lessons each week. Each lesson had fifty minutes. The author taught the two classes
using two different methods: the Experimental Class adopted the Grammar Translation Method, while the Control
Class adopted the Communicative Approach in grammar teaching.
