(4) New information has been included on wet dust collection systems. Additional information has been added addressing housekeeping, an important issue for the prevention of fires and explosions. Personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements have been identified.
(5) Chapter 15, Fire Prevention, Fire Protection, and Emergency Response, remains retroactive for all of the specific metal chapters and for the general metal chapter.
(6) Chapter 16, Combustible Metal Recycling Facilities, is retroactive. Additional information has been added to address emergency response requirements.
(7) Hazard analysis requirements are now applicable to all metal chapters.
(8) A new chapter on performance-based design has been added.
