22.27 Recommendations and other advisory comments may be communicated orally or in writing. When communicating orally, the workpapers should document the date of the discussion and the attendees. Where more than one written letter will be submitted (e.g., by division or subsidiary), careful coordination is necessary so that the reports are compatible and appropriate on an overall basis. Particular attention should be paid to consistency of style and whether comments made in one letter should also be made in another. The timing of preparation and submission should be controlled.
