Solidfog hereby proposes a costeffective
solution with (1) mobile unit
DosyMist® H2O2 dry mist generator
configured for two (2) remote spray
heads. One spray head will be installed
strategically in the filling machine and
the other once in the capping machine.
These two parts, with independent
cRABS, shall be isolated to carry out
cycles separately with a small time lag
and facilitate cycle validation.
The working procedure of the operator
is easy; first, he will have to connect the
regulating box to the first remote spray
head located in the Filling Machine.
After injection time, he can already
disconnect the remote spray head from
the regulating box and place it near the
second remote spray head, in the
Capping Machine, and connect it to proceed to the fumigation of that volume.
The remote spray head has sensors to send signals to the regulation box in order to report the
cycle. The regulating box has a PLC and HMI that will allow the user to develop different cycles
depending on the log reduction required. For more info about Dosymist features, please read
next chapter.
A typical cycle for this application could take 12-15 min Injection time, 45 min Contact phase
and 45-90 min of Aeration phase needed to decrease to a level of < 1ppm H2O2, depending on
the extraction capacity of the cRABS. Such values are estimated for 12% H2O2 solution sprayed
at a rate of 12 ml/m3.
