Following the recent announcement of changes to the Senior Management of Auslec / L&H (ALH) and Sonepar Pacific, I would like to outline a change to the operational management of ALH at state level.
After much consideration, we will be running with State Managers (rather than 2 to 3 General Managers) to provide greater focus, simplification and alignment at a state level. Our Customers, Suppliers and Staff have told us that this is the model they prefer to work with.
In the larger states, this role will be supported by a State Operations Manager.
I am delighted to announce that:
WA – Graham Furlong will assume the role of State Manager. Graham has informally filled this role since March, with great success.
SA / NT – Michael Sparrow has been appointed State Manager. David Afford has decided to leave the business to pursue other interests and we wish him well and thank him for his 28 years of loyal service.
Vic / Tas – Cindy Rafanelli has been appointed State Manager and will appoint a State Operations Manager. Chris Dally and Dean McKellar are moving into exciting new roles in the broader Sonepar Pacific organisation and this will be explained in a separate announcement.
NSW / ACT – Our new State Manager will commence in early January 2016. George Ciacciarelli has been appointed State Operations Manager and will be caretaker State Manager until our new appointment is on board. Dale McRae and Steve Allen are leaving the business and we thank them for their contribution.
Qld – Michelle Dawes has been appointed State Manager supported by Dylan Yeoman as State Operations Manager. Ken Smith has left the business and we thank him for his contribution since joining us.
These changes are effective immediately.
Please join me in congratulating the new Team and we look forward to your support as we move into an exciting 2016.
Ross Swepson
ALH CEO
