My dear Angel,
Honestly, honey your emails have been the most encouraging emails that I have ever received while in the service of my country. I love you so much for that, my love what makes me happy is having you in my life, and my dream now is to spend the rest of my life with you.
Honey i informed you about my Mission! thanks for your love and caring my Angel.
I apologize for my inability to send you an email after notifying you that I’m back from the ops, I was being debriefed and when being debriefed, I was not allowed to make contact with anybody. Honey I have been through so much in the last few days. I thank God for bringing me back to base safely. The situation out there was terrible; I told you I lost 2 of my men in this particular operation. We encountered some insurgency at one of our base named, Al Qaeda-Iraq forces advance on Baghdad military air base, which has been constantly under attack by talibans and Islamic State fighters. This time around, we took the fight to them in their hideout, what we didn't realize was that this particular camp, was not an ordinary taliban and Islamic State fighters camp. During the operation, we gunned down 9 Islamic State fighters, which were guarding some sort of enclave in which we made an astonishing discovery.
Honey, when all normalcy returned after I told my men to seize fire, that was when I realized that I lost 2 men, one was 29 years old, and the other was in his 30s and both had wife and kids. I had no other consolation then to cry bitterly. None of us there, wished to die like our deceased platoon members, thereby leaving our family and loved ones sad and vulnerable and without a dime to take care of themselves. I had to take decisive actions on what to do, so this is what I did, I took stock of what we discovered and after taking stock, we had discovered 26 aluminum trunks packed to the brim with dollar bills. I sat down with the remaining 4 members of my platoon and we collectively decided to keep 5 of the aluminum trunks to our selves respectively, one point we considered as we made our decision was the need to properly assist the families of our departed platoon members. I then called in a Red Cross buddy of mines who was stationed on our base, and is also the pilot of the helicopter belonging to the Red Cross. The reason I called him was to immediately fly to our location, so that he could assist us in conveying the trunks we wanted to keep to ourselves to a safe location out of SYRIA. He flew in and informed us that the best place to send the trunks too is Ghana. He said that there is a security company there that he has had dealings with in the past and that their services are very efficient and they can conveniently deliver the trunks to our desired destinations. So we handed over the 5 trunks to him and asked him to register the trunks in our respective names and forward whatever documentation given to him to our respective email boxes. He said that they will issue us deposit certificates and that the document will be forwarded to our respective email boxes as soon as the trunk is registered in their care. At the end of the whole ordeal I radioed our base for them to come and evacuate us and the remaining 21 trunks back to base. I came out of debriefing this morning, and I was told that Bruce is on base, but I am yet to see him. As soon as I do I will send you an update, and by the way, thanks for all your prayers and good wishes while I was on the mission.
Yours Love forever,
Major Gen.Robin Rand.
