The thickness of the solids accumulated on the steel tube samples
were measured with optical microscope Neophot32. The
diffractometer Seifert 3003 TeT with cobalt lamp (voltage 30 kV, Xray
wavelength of 1.7902$1010 m, filament current 40 mA) and
detector scintillation counter SZ 20/SE was applied to investigate
the phase composition of the deposits. The study was carried out
for the diffraction angles from 20 to 80 and sample exposure time
was 10 s. For the identification of crystalline phases in the deposits
the data in the JCPDS - ICDD (Join Committee for Powder Diffraction
Standards - International Centre for Diffraction Data) were used.
