Quick Checks
Run the AST 2 MRI diagnostic prior to troubleshooting. Check for any service restrictions in the diagnostic results.
Important: Before servicing a device, ensure customer has disabled Find My iPhone in Settings. For more information, refer to article HT201365: Find My iPhone Activation Lock.
Restart device. If unable to restart, try to reset device.
On the device, go to Settings > General > Software Update to verify device has most up-to-date software. If unavailable, verify by plugging device into iTunes.
