You will need to find, by trial and error, the optimum barrel temperature for each compounding operation while you are actually running the twin-screw extrusion line. If you change the temperature while running the extruder, make sure it will not be higher than 10 °C compared to actual temperature on the instrument or else the extruder will stop. This is caused by the safety where the temperature must reach within +/- 10 °C for the extruder to run. (You can change this safety level if you like, as we explain in the manual)
