I went through the scope/criteria has shown in the application form as attached for both ASTD Awards and Excellence in practice and found that
- more than 85% of requirements of ASTD Awards had already in-placed in SCCC . There are some activities that is 'to be' implemented for our employees in company-wide i.e. mobile learning applications, VDO-conference learning, Social network tool that support learning
- 100% or almost 100% for some categories of Excellence in Practice had already in-placed i.e Integrated Talent Mgmt,, Performance Improvement, Org.Learning & Development, Sales Enablement (RMX)
So, for my point of view , we can go for both , as my aspiration we will go for ASTD Awards (but need to complete the data record/evident since Jan -Dec 2014 and close the 15% gaps of the criteria). But in this year , we can start with the "Excellence in Practice" However, we need to have the same goal since it may create some extra efforts.
