KoSASA is currently undertaking a survey of the Korean Studies Education program and its infrastructure among the KoSASA member universities. Based on the current status of Korean Studies education programs, KoSASA aims to explore opportunities for further development through cooperation and exchange, both among the KoSASA member universities and also with the universities and institutions in Korea.
The data and information collected through this survey will be analysed and presented at the “Presidents/Vice Presidents’ Session for Korean Studies Development in Southeast Asia”, at the 6th KoSASA International Conference (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), along with “the expansion plan for cooperation and exchange for collective development of Korean Studies within Southeast Asia”. Moreover, the data will be used to develop the policies for Korean Studies Educational Support for the supporting agencies in Korea (including the Korea Foundation and the Academy of Korean Studies) and KoSASA member universities.
