Evidently, there is a degree of confusion within the clinical and psychological literature relating to the appropriate usage of certain buddhist terms and practices. due to this, there i s a need for greater dialogue between experienced buddhist teachers and psychopathology clinicians and researchers to establish robust operational foundations for BDLs. there is also a need for greater disciplinary dialogue so that clinicians and researchers adopt a unified and structured approach toward the clinical implementation of buddhist practices. such dialogues will not only be paramount in safeguarding the ethical values, efficacy, and credibility of BDIs, but will also help to preserve the authenticity of the buddhist teachings in general.
