While it may not be feasible to completely
eliminate these steps, it is possible to reduce the amount
of time an average client waits at each area. These areas of pure
waste were the target points that the team wished to change.
Fig. 2 is a snapshot of the simulation animation and shows the basic
movements of clients throughout the KCHFS building. By seeing the
clients move through the physical layout of the building, a better
understanding of the bottlenecks in the system could be gained
