Synthesis of Ag nanoparticles
In a typical reaction procedure, 1ml crude latex was diluted
to 300ml using triply distilled de-ionized water to make it 3%
and 20 ml of this latex solution was mixed with 20 ml 5×10−3M
aqueous silver nitrate solution. Mixture was heated at 85 ◦C with
constant stirring for 4 h in oil bath and silver nanoparticles were
obtained gradually. Same type reactions were also performed with
various concentrations of AgNO3 and latex.
