New Airplanes
New technology allows the new airplanes to fly in long-haul routes but
using less fuel.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is able to fly up to 9,700 miles without refueling.
So, the airline can manage a flight between New York and Moscow, Manila,
or Sao Paulo or between Boston and Athens.
The giant double – decker Airbus A380 can carry up to 500 passengers for a
distance of up to 8,000 miles.
