My concern is for all 80 stores in my region. I look for trends, making sure that there is balance in the performance across the districts. My job is to measure and coach DMs on their performance. If we are trying to achieve something as a team and if two of the seven districts are not meeting their goals, I will work with those DMs to manage that shortfall and bring them up to speed. I will break store performance down into subclasses, such as digital cameras, copy center average order, labor reporting, and shrink across districts. I don’t drill down by store; that’s the DM’s job.
