During the early morning of Wednesday 30th September (around 6.30am), I was awoke by load noises and the sound of radios. Initially, I thought it was the police outside my room. I got out of bed and looked outside but could not see anything. Went back to bed and then further noise/radios. This time I opened the door. One of the hotel staff was walking past and I asked him what the noise was. He told me that there was a film being made in the room diagonally opposite mine. I telephoned the guest services number and asked to speak to the duty manager. I complained about the noise and that I wanted to sleep. This was around 7am by now. Ten minutes later and still lots of noise and radios. No action had been taken by the hotel. I put on my dressing gown and went into the room opposite. To my surprise there were lots of people in the room with radios and shouting. I told them to keep the noise down and turn off the radios. I spoke again to the duty manager upon returning to my room. Frankly, I am very disappointed that a hotel such as yours would allow a film crew to set-up so early in the morning when there were other guests staying on that floor. Especially disappointed when I had to personally try to quieten down the group. I am planning a company event in February 2016 for around 25 people over several nights, and I am close to cancelling. This incident ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing break at your hotel.
