Similarly, a plastic tray contain-ing 500 g untreated fruits served as control. Both the control and the treated fruits were kept as ambient condition (25–28◦C and60–70% R.H.) and in cool chamber (8–12◦C and 88–90% R.H.)
The treatments were replicated six times comprising 500 g fruits per replication.
Periodical observations on various quality parameters of the fruits stored packages (in triplicate) were recorded as per the procedure discussed below.
