CIRCA 1725, ATTRIBUTED TO 'LE MAITRE DU BUREAU L'ELECTEUR'
The top inset with gilt-tooled leather, above a concave frieze fitted with three drawers and three false drawers, the sides mounted with Bacchic masks, the cabriole legs headed by espagnolegge busts and terminating in foliate scroll sabots, inscribed in red paint to the underside '502/R.', previously with further border mounts to the frieze, the mounts re-gilt, the masks mounts to the ends almost certainly original but repositioned when the side aprons were slightly re-shaped
