The main driver for the change in fee is the more involvement of KPMG Cayman in the audit process (planning, through completion and the financial statements) as compared to in prior years. This more involvement is in response to the new requirements of regulators.
I have already talked to KPMG Cayman about any possible decrease and they reverted that USD 7,000 is the minimum fee they charge for 2013.
Please note that there is no increase in KPMG Thailand fee, which is still same as 2012.
