“I have gone through so many stages in my life: Moments in which I have felt very secure about my physical appearance, moments in which I haven’t felt more in touch with myself and the person who I am. People say that by the time you are 30 is when you really liberate yourself from the external perceptions and you are more comfortable in your own skin. I am starting to feel that way. Today I wear much less makeup than what I used to wear when I was 18. Today, I don’t even wear foundation because I am starting to accept the way I am. That takes time, especially for a woman, especially for a celebrity woman who is always under the pressure of the lens, you know, and the public eye.”
