affects the experimental kinetic parameter evaluation. If there is
no thermal quenching, the theoretical predictions were taken into
account, when the heating rate is increased, the maximum temperature
of glow peak shifts to higher degree. Moreover glow peak
height, area under the glow curve and FWHM also increase [4,24].
In the study, the glow curve of LBO:Mn single crystal was recorded
using different heating rates from 1 to 20 K/s. The obtained
data showed that peak positions shifted towards to higher temperatures
and peak heights and FWHM were increase while the heating
rate was increases (Fig. 2).
In addition, evaluation of the areas under the main glow peak
was increase with increasing heating rates (Fig. 3). As a consequence,
it can be stated that there is no thermal quenching in this
material.
