Therefore, it is not
unlikely that LS in these complexes resist alternative acid–alkaline
washings. The results of the EDS analysis of the PANIs before and
after the above washing sequence are presented in Fig. 2. The EDS
spectrum of PANI–LS2 includes the S and Cl elements as PANI–LS2
is co-doped with hydrochloric acid. S (for PANI–LS1 and PANI–LS2)
and Cl (for PANI–LS2) elements are still present after the washing
sequence, but at a considerably less extent than in the as-received
sample (a decrease of 90–95% for S).
