FOOD AND DRINK
I would like to describe the meaning of the world FOOD and DRINK F-O-O-D. Food means something that we can eat foe meal, Proteins are obtained from meat from animals, egg, milk and beans. It is necessary for the growth and repair of the body's muscles, cells and tissue. Complex carbohydrates come in foe the bread, pasta, cereals, rice and potatoes. They provide the body with fuel and energy to keep going throughout the day and should make up half the daily intake of food.
Fat is from animals, butter milk and some fruit. it provides us with warmth. It acts like and insulator trapping heat in our bodies.
Fruit and vegetables provide us with vitamins and minerals and should make up the second largest part of our daily diet.
Vitamins and minerals keep the body healthy and help to prevent against many illnesses and diseases. The are vital to the correct function of our immune and nervous systems and are paramount to good health.
