Laccase production was found to be 10.15 ± 2.21 U/ml at 30 ◦C and pH 5.0 after 20 days of fermentation (Fig. 1). This might be attributed to the fact that nutrients required for growth and induction of laccase production would have been provided by the constituents present in textile effluent, groundnut shell and cyanobacterial biomass. Similar type of work was carried out on cyanobacterial bloom for lactic acid production [6].
