The FCA method derives a set of new concepts in the
following procedure. The 188 provided activities are
projected onto the 20 reference activities in a matrix
(Figure 1). The matrix lists the provided activities in the
rst column, with the reference activities along the top row.
The intersection of a row (provided activities) and a column
(reference activities), marked by an `x' symbol, means that
the specic provided activity is equivalent to or contain the
reference activity. For example, a provided activity named
`museums' (c56) is equivalent to the reference activity
`visiting a museum' (r4). In addition, provided activities
called `Museums & Galleries' (c42) contains two reference activities `visiting a museum' (r4) and `visiting an art
gallery' (r5). These relationships between provided activities and reference activities are adopted directly from the
