Is a heated exchange between two people IMing each other cyberbullying or simply an argument in print. As with interpersonal teasing, whether something is considered cyberbullying likely depends on who you ask. Targets of vicious emails or "verbal lynchings" as Diane Sawyer referred to them (Ross, 2006) are far more likely than perpetrators to identify the behavior as cyberbullying (see also Kowalski, 2000).
