For appearance, differences were
found significant for flowers of different cultivars. Best size and
shape of dry flower was obtained in 'Lambada'. Again this may
be owing to its varietal character. Among different stages of
harvest, the appearance of dried Dutch rose flowers was better
in flowers harvested at half bloom stage, which recorded
maximum score of 2.05 while least score was recorded in the
flowers harvested at tight bud stage. Interaction effects of Dutch
rose cultivars and harvest stages on dry flower appearance
showed significant differences. 'Lambada' harvested at half
bloom stage scored maximum (2.52) and considered best among
other cultivars. Least score (1.39) with respect to interaction
was recorded in 'Ravel' harvested at tight bud stage. Variation
