Total
lithic fragments are much more abundant in the Injana
sandstones (40–58%) than those of the Fat’ha Formation
sandstones (14–20%). Generally, the carbonate lithic fragments
are more common than other types and occur as rounded
to subrounded micrite fragments (Figs. 5 and 6). Lithic chert
fragments are mostly microcrystalline, few radiolarian chert
fragments were identified (Fig. 5, D).
