a) Are vehicles searched for signs of tampering or unauthorized personnel when they leave or arrive at your facility?
b) Are all delivery trucks monitored before and during loading and unloading?
a) Are containers inspected for physical integrity, damage and contamination prior to loading? A seven point inspection process is recommended for all containers:
1) front wall
2) left side
3) right side
4) floor
5) ceiling/roof
6) inside/outside doors
7) outside/undercarriage
d) Is the locking mechanism on the container checked for reliability?
e) Are containers/trailers that remain at the facility overnight or for extended periods secured and locked/sealed?
* f) Do all container seals meet or exceed current PAS ISO 17712 standards for high security seals?
g) Who is responsible for container seal distribution?
h) Are procedures in place for how seals are to be controlled and affixed to loaded containers?
i) Are seal numbers verified before trailers or trucks are released from the facility?
j) Has an individual at your facility been designated to ensure conveyance security requirements are met?
k) Are management, security personnel, and/or local law enforcement notified if unauthorized personnel, un-manifested materials, or signs of tampering are discovered?
l) Are these Conveyance Security measures documented in writing and are they reviewed annually?
