The smoke samples (two with and two without meat) were collected using the following procedure.
An electric coal ignitor (0.85 kW) was put in the bottom of a charcoal grill (dimensions 33 x 21 x 5 crn).
Charcoal (0.50 kg) was added on top, filling the grill.
The ignitor was then connected to voltage.
After 15 minute, when the charcoal had turned into live coal, a metal cone ( O = 25 era), connected by a threcnecked round-bottomed flask to a eryo-condenser, was placed over the grill.
