Although relatively few context-awareness research groups are involved in healthcare area (Bricon-Souf and Newman, 2007), it is clear that context-aware systems combined with mobile devices is of high value and could improve usability significantly (Baldauf
et al., 2007). Sridevi et al. (2010) implemented a context-aware health monitoring system in India. The systems provided the connection between primary healthcare center in rural area and well-equipped medical providers in urban areas. The system was only tested in the lab and there was no evaluation of the system so far. In this project, mobile applications are used for identifying patients and communicating with the wireless medical devices.
