ENTRUSTED DATA What we often think of as disclosed is really entrusted data instead. This includes similar content to disclosed data, yet it is data posted on a platform we do not control, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, or our employer’s website. As such, someone else decides what happens to these data, and how easy they are to use and collect. We can decide the content and whether or not we chose to post it on these platforms; however, we cannot control what firms subsequently do with our trace data.
