Scene 1: In front of the interview room
David: Oh god! I’m nervous.
Announced voice: Mr. Beckham, please come to the room number 5.
David: David! That’s my name. I can’t do it. God, please help me.
Scene 2: In the interview room
Manager: Mr. Beckham, please take a seat.
David: Thank you Madam.
Manager: I saw your CV that you had sent to our company last week. You have great profile and qualification that we need.
David: Thank you very much.
Manager: Well, in your CV, I saw that now you are working as a lawyer of S&Q company, is that right?
David: Yes, I do.
Manager: How long have you worked for the company? And why do you want to leave your current job? In my opinion, it’s a nice job which gives you good salary and welfare.
David: What you think is right, Madam. But I’ve worked in this position for 5 years. I want to try something new and challenge my talent more than this job.
Manager: I see. How would other people describe you?
David: Most people said that I’m ambitious, patient and intelligent.
Manager: Do you have any weaknesses?
David: Yes, sometime I am not active if I have to do the same things
over and over again.
Manager: Finally, do you have any questions about the job?
David: Umm. If I work with your company, do I have a change to do a research?
Manager: Yes, you do.
David: That’s nice.
Manager: Well, that’s enough for today and congratulations! We’d like you to work for our company.
David: Are you serious? Thank you very much.
Scene 3: In front of the interview room (on phone)
Robert: Hello.
David: Robert! I got a new job!
Robert: Wow. That’s a good news. Congratulations.
David: Thank you. Let’s celebrate. Robert, can you tell Marry that I’ve just got a job. Do you want to go for a movie?
Robert: That sounds great. Which movie do you want to see?
David: How about “Annabelle”?
Robert: It sounds nice but Marry hates horror movies.
David: Well, how about “Mockingjay”?
Robert: That would be great. Do you want to have lunch together before we see a movie?
David: Yes, okay. I’ll pick you and Marry up at 11 a.m. tomorrow.
Robert: Tomorrow? Sorry, I can’t. I am having meetings at the company every single day for the coming week. Why don’t we go next week?
David: Next week? Okay. See you at Marry’s dormitory next week.
Robert: Yeah, see you. Bye.
Scene 4: In front of Marry’s dormitory.
David: Marry.
Marry: Hi! David, long time no see. Congratulations for your new job.
David: Thanks. Where’s Robert?
Marry: He’s in the toilet.
David: Okay.
Marry: Tada!
David: What is that?
Marry: It’s a present for you. I bought it after I’d heard that you’ve got a new job.
David: Oh! A doll?
Marry: It isn’t a normal doll. It is a portable power bank. You see? There are holes that you can plug in.
David: A power bank? Let me see. What is it for? Where can I use it?
Marry: The power bank is used for putting energy into a battery of your mobile. It works without a house’s plug and socket, so you can recharge your mobile from everywhere when your battery’s dead.
David: Oh, that’s wonderful.
Marry: This invention is a must have device for people who love to use social apps on their smartphones like you. These people will be glad to have one.
David: Thank you so much. It has 2 holes, a big and a small ones. What are they for?
Marry: They are for plugging in cable lines. A small hole is used to recharge a power bank. And a big hole is used to give power to a phone.
David: Oh! I see. How much power can the power bank give to my mobile?
Marry: It will triple your phone’s battery life.
David: That’s great! What happens if I press this button?
Marry: Oh. That button! It does nothing to the power bank. Press it to switch the doll on. It can walk.
David: Incredible.
Robert: I’m back. Hey! That’s a nice doll.
