The microbial strains were isolated from rhizospheric soil samples
of eastern Uttar Pradesh, India. All microbial strains showed rod
shape and Gramþexcept Enterobacter gave Gramreaction. The
biochemical characters of microbial strain,Enterobactersp. showed
positive for methyl red, VP (Voges–Proskauer) test and negative for
catalase, while A. chlorophenolicusalso showed positive test for
methyl red, catalase and negative for VP test (Table 1). However,
B. megateriumgave positive for catalase, VP test and negative for
methyl red test. Isolated strains were molecularly characterized by
16S rDNA gene sequencing with different accession numbers
KC432646 (B. megaterium), KC453981 (A. chlorophenolicus), and
KC453983 (Enterobacter)(Table 1).
