the production. These may include number of basic processes, type of basic processes, and types of tool
used. Geometric dimensions and tolerances are associated with the specification of the product design and manufacturing capabilities to ensure proper quality. Dimensioning is required for the convey of
complete information regarding to the description of the detail for the part, where tolerancing is required
to specify the acceptable range of variation in a dimension. Geometric features are considered as a
collection of geometric entities with significant impact on the process planning stage. The task of
recognizing the type of geometric feature is simple for human operator, although for an environment
which thi ta k i automated, this may not be as easily done
