Last December, I visited my grandparents in Herrenberg, a town in southern Germany between Stuttgart and the Black Forest. It was founded in the 13th century, so it had lots of beautiful buildings and houses. My favorite part of the town was the Market Square. I went there every day during my visit! There was an old church with a bell museum inside. There was also a nice Italian coffee shop there. Every Tuesday and Saturday mornings there was a market outside in the square, and on one weekend there was a special holiday market. It was open all day, into the night. There were hundreds of people there buying gifts, decorations, food, and warm spiced wine. It was a festive good time!
