Pump care group disassembled M.E fuel booster pump on 16.12.2013 at 22;00 hrs. test booster found satisfactory of both pump;but one pump was found regulator broken condition and should be renew next time.
Pump efficiency found good enough pressue and working in order.
M.E plunger efficiency found same like as before and unable to keep idle position due to efficted of plunger and delivery valve.
But can be use for short voyage.
I have been instructed to chief engineer that after arrival Bintulu to be change the previous plunger 3 set.{Singapore recondition }
M.E turbocharger was stil same like before and please we have to renew 4 set of plunger and 7 set of delivery valve once we receve spare parts then we can get out come of engine performance.
I observe the engine crew that they are not willing to hard work and loosen discipline.
Chief engineer and 2nd engineer can not cooperate; specially chief engineer management is very weak.
That's why last night take too long to start engine due to careless of repairing and all nozzle cooling water line damaged and leakage condition;
I would like to advise that next time follow one voyage should be observ engine condition and crew performance.
