Wang Sai Than, Klong Lam Loan is a canal that is originated from Bantad Mountains. It is the main water stream of the forest at the Pak Bara Headwaters. The water is so crystal clear that you can see schools of fish passing. Along the two sides of the canal, large trees stand tall and cast shadows. The popular travelling activity is kayaking in which you can paddle along the stream and roll along the curves around the islets for more than 16 of them. Some areas can be rapids, adding challenges and excitement to your liking. The cool stream, the sensations and the predictions of what lies ahead always make the travellers agree that time does fly when you are having fun. We recommend that you select a rafting tour which provides safety staff, life jackets, and safety helmets for your safety.
The nearby areas are the homes of the locals called “Orang Aslis” who still live their traditional lifestyles. The Orang Aslis mostly migrate from place to place, living in makeshift residences. They truly live in nature, using banana leaves and rattan leaves as sleeping mats or roofs. They live on taro and potato and hunt civets, monkeys, langurs, squirrels for food.
