2.8. Transwell migration assay
The migratory response of HepG2 cells to segetoside I was studied.
The cells were placed on the upper layer of the cell permeable
membrane and segetoside I (0, 0.82, 8.2, 82.0 M)or 5-FU (0, 9.23,
92.3, 923 M) solution placed below the cell membrane. Following
incubation for 12 h, the cells that had migrated through the membrane
were stained with crytstaline violet solution and counted.
