Embrace a larger sample size and cover broader area
According to the law of large numbers, larger sample size is more likely to be representative and the sample mean is more likely to equal the population mean (Saunders et al,. 2009). Therefore, future research are recommended to draw a larger sample size to generate a more accurate and representative manners (Lim et al., 2011). Meanwhile, the samples should be drawn from multiple geographic locations in Malaysia including East Malaysia, possibly from other countries in the Asia-pacific region given that the students’ perceptions and attitudes towards savings are likely to vary across countries or cultures throughout the world.
