***The white paper***
A professor entered the classroom and asked his students to prepare for a surprise test.
The professor handed out the question paper.
Once handed them all out, he asked his students to turn the page and begin.
To everyone's surprise, there were no questions, just a black dot in the center of the page. The professor seeing the question on everyone's face, and said,
"I want you to write what you are seeing there."
The students started on the inexplicable task!
Finally the professor took all answered papers back and started reading them all out aloud in front of the class.
Everybody described the black dot, and tried to explain its position in the middle of the sheet, etc. etc. etc.
After all had been read, the class was silent.
The professor explained :
"I just wanted to give you something to think about."
"You see, no one wrote about the white, bigger, part of the paper, and focused only on the black dot !
This same thing happens in our lives. We all have our "white paper-life" to observe and enjoy, but we always tend to focus on the dark spots !
Our life is a great gift of love and cares, and we should be celebrating; the wonders of nature, the friends who are so good to us, the job that provides our livelihood, and the miracles we see every day.
But, you see, we always focus on the dark spots of life, like: the health problems, the lack of money, the troubled family, the disappointment with friends.
The "dark" spots are very few, comparing to what we have in our "white" lives, they are the ones that always pollute our minds.
Take your eyes off the black spots, and enjoy the blessed moments, be happy, and LOVE your life!
