3.4. Application to real samples
After completely validating the proposed method, it was successfully
applied for the quantification of TCs and QNs in real
samples after pretreating all of them. In order to obtain the results
with maximum accuracy, the match matrix method was applied to
all real samples.
Fig. 4 compares the chromatograms obtained by HF-LPME/
HPLC-DAD analysis at 275 nm of non-spiked (blue chromatograms)
and spiked (red chromatograms) lamb liver samples fortified
with 50 ng g1 of the antibiotics. For all the real samples
analyzed and quantified by HPLC-DAD, the presence of antibiotics
was confirmed by the LC-MS/MS technique. Table 3 summarizes
the antibiotics concentrations found in each real sample.
