Leukocytoclastic vasculitis (LCV) or cutaneous
necrotizing vasculitis is a small-vessel
inflammatory disease mediated by deposition
of immune complexes.1-4 subsequently, vascular
injury and tissue damage are the end
result. The cutaneous manifestations of LCV
are palpable purpura, urticarial liked lesions,
ulcerations, vesiculobullous lesions, erythematous
papules/ plaques, nodules, livedo
reticularis and necrosis. Palpable purpura is
the most common skin lesion and the lower
part of the legs are the most common site of
involvement.4-7
