Many parts of the country will continue to be hit by heavy rain from the weakened tropical depression Vamco, with weather authorities saying downpours could go on for two were day.
The Meteological Departmant’s latest weather update for Thursday cautioned about downpours in all areas except the northorn region and advised small ships in coastal provinces to stay inshore as strong winds from Vamco comtinue to generate big wave in the gulf of thailand and Andaman coast.

Vamco was downgraded to a low-pressure system on Tuesday and is moving toward Myammer and the upper part of the Bay of Bengal.
But it will continue to bring rain to thailand until Friday with severe weather conditions in 17 provinces. They are Ubon Ratchatani , SI Sa Ket , Surin , BuriRam , Nakhon Ratchasima , LopBuri , Saraburi , Nakhon Nayok , Phangnga and Phuket.
Rain remains scattered in many areas of Bankok and districts could see downpours at least until Friday , according to the weather bureau.
