RCSofconcreteexposedtofiretopreservetheintegrityofthe
whole concretestructure.Manyfeaturesaffecttheperformanceof
concretetoelevatedtemperaturessuchasmixproportions,curing
period, aggregatetype,andpresenceofsupplementarycementing
materials.
The useofsupplementarycementingmaterialssuchassilica
fume, flyash,andblast-furnaceslaginconcretemixtureshad
been observedanefficienttechniquetoimprovethestrengthand
propertiesofconcretematerial.Manyresearchstudiesarefound
in theliteraturepertainingtheinfluenceofsupplementary
cementing materialsontheresistanceofconcretetoelevated
temperatures.Theresistanceofconcreteincorporatedultra-fine
cementing materialssuchassilicafumeandmetakaolinto
elevatedtemperatureswerefoundlowercomparedtocontrol
concrete [1–5].
