Sangkla is a district of Kanchanaburi linking to Mynmar, 215 kms off Kanchanaburi town, along the highway 323. This road cross the mountains and the lake of Wachirarongkorn Dam. Along the road parallel to the lake you can view the panoramic landscape of Sangkla district.
Sangkla is a meeting of 3 rivers: Songkralia, Bikee and Rantee, so called "Sam Pra Sob" meaning 3 meetings. 3 of them are known as the Kwai Noi river.
Mon tribes live here and cultivated with their original life-style e.g. dressing, languages, houses, etc.
Mon Bridge is symbol of the Mon people here. The bridge is linking two cultures between Thais and Mons.
