Folin–Ciocalteu method (method # 2)
The amount of total phenolics was determined using
the Folin–Ciocalteu method (Obanda & Owuor, 1997).
A calibration curve of gallic acid (ranging from 0.005
to 0.05 mg/ml) was prepared and the results, determined
from regression equation of the calibration curve
